COSPLAY AND PHOTOGRAPHY

Cosplay events will be hosted at Oasis 21, RAYARD Hisaya-odori Park, Flarie, Osu Shopping District, and other venues throughout Nagoya. During the Cosplay Summit the venues will be packed with visitors mingling and photographing each other's cosplays.

WCS CHAMPIONSHIP

The World Cosplay Championship, which will be held at the Aichi Prefectural Art Theater, is a contest to determine the world's best cosplayers. There will be 2 events this year, one for cosplay performances submitted in video format, and another for on-stage performances from teams that have traveled to Japan.

Oasis21 - STAGE

Oasis21 will be one of the venues of the WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT. There's plenty of entertainment scheduled for the special stage, including cosplay performances, a cosplay runway, live music from some special guests, talk shows, and more.

Oasis21 -BOOTH

Businesses and organizations located at Oasis21 will be hosting exhibition booths, mega photo panels, and more in a fun-filled cosplay zone.

LIVE STREAM

The stage at Oasis 21 will host a live stream of the day's events. If you can't make it to the venue yourself but still want to check out the WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT, feel free to stop by the stream! LIVE VIEWING & TALK SHOW

Live Viewing of the Championship & Special Talk Show at Oasis 21! Featuring a special guest...! Could it be that voice actor...?! The Cosplay Summit of the controversial work unfolds! There will be no live streams or reports from the venue. Please enjoy the "uncensored content" that can only be experienced during that moment. (Paid tickets required for admission)

Measures to Prevent the Spread of Infectious Diseases

The WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT 2022 ~20th Anniversary~ will be held in full compliance with guidelines by implementing measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. In addition, throughout the production and hosting of our live streams we will take the health and safety of performers and staff into consideration at all times, and implement measures in compliance with government policy to reduce the risk of infection.

Our staff and partners are currently working remotely wherever possible, and measures to prevent the spread of infection are being fully carried out both in our event preparations and during the main event itself. We ask that all visiting performers also cooperate in our efforts prevent the spread of infection.

Measures to Prevent Heatstroke

Cosplay events at the WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT 2022 ~20th Anniversary~ will be held in full compliance with national and government guidelines by implementing measures to prevent heatstroke.

Anyone can be at risk of heatstroke depending on the conditions at the time. It is especially important to be careful at events hosted in broad daylight on hot days. Let's work together to reduce the risk.

The weekend of the WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT could well be fiercely hot. To make sure that the event is fun and safe for everyone, we ask that you take the necessary precautions and comply with our measures to prevent heatstroke.
