Japan is an amazing place that is very different from my country, with an interesting history, culture and landscapes.
Around 40 costumes, more or less.
Dragon Ball, The vision of Escaflowne, Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, Slayers, Digimon, One Piece, Pokémon, Ah Megamisama!, Chobits, Fushigi Yuugi...
Japan means a very special, long awaited travel, it means a chance to see and live a different culture and people, and to learn a lot from them, to see and feel the beauty of the country, the beauty of the villages and forests I've seen in pictures and movies. I've always wanted to go to Japan but couldn't afford it. It also means going back to my childhood, with many good memories, as many places in Japan are shown in manga/anime and I've always dreamed to be where my favourite characters are in the series.
35, I think. I have a couple I haven't worn yet.
Hi! I'm Virchan, nice to meet you! I'm a spanish cosplayer since 2007. I'm 29, and discovered cosplay in 2006, felt curious about it and did my first cosplay in 2007.
I like many characters from anime, manga, videogames and movies mainly from my childhood. I used to read a lot of manga online, but now I prefer to watch anime/movies as I don't have much time to spend on reading. It happens the same with videogames, I used to play everyday online games when I was at highschool/Uni, but now with my job I just can't tie myself to a long game and I just play every now and then when I find some free time.
Most of my cosplays are from videogames and/or anime, 50-50 I'd say.
Most of the series I like are adventure and fantasy/magic/shonen ones like: Dragon Ball, Digimon, Pokemon, Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, The Vision of Escaflowne, Slayers, One Piece and Code Geass. But I also like cute and sweet series like: Chobits, Ah Megamisama, Love Hina, Kobato, Fushigi Yuugi...I'm and old school girl XD...
Some of my favourite games are: Tomb Raider, Lara's my fav female chara!, Crash Bandicoot and Final Fantasy VIII and X.
